Having completed his MBA at LUMS, an MSc at Oxford University, and a PhD from City, University of London, Dr. Adnan Zahid has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB) at LUMS while also taking on the great responsibility of deanship of the Office of Student Affairs. He has also served as the Director of Namal Institute in Mianwali. His research focuses on exploring consumption through a socio-cultural lens.

Gohar Iqbal, CEO, was one of his many bright students at LUMS, with whom he developed a mentor-mentee relationship that almost became a brotherhood over time and as Gohar was graduating and heading on to the next chapter of his life, he decided with Dr. Adnan Zahid to open up a food-based startup based on the ideology shared by both. To this day, Johnny & Jugnu runs on the same ideology and vision of creating an organisation with a healthy, positive culture that uplifts and empowers people to do great things in their lives.
